Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and full-stack applications.
- Build and support automation tools, platform capabilities, and internal engineering systems.
- Write scalable, maintainable code and follow engineering practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions involving scalability and system behavior.
- Troubleshoot application and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and support production incident resolution.
- Support cloud-native and distributed systems.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and system behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience analyzing, designing, and programming computer applications.
- Experience debugging and modifying software programs.
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Experience performing software testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience collaborating with users or stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Experience developing or supporting installation and maintenance procedures.
- Preferred experience or coursework in full-stack development, backend services, or systems programming.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, HTML, CSS, Java, Python, Node.js, Spring Boot, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native concepts.
- Familiarity with automation, infrastructure, platform engineering, CI/CD pipelines, Git, containerization, or developer tooling.
- Basic understanding of system reliability, monitoring, debugging, and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, learning, written communication, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
