Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient services and applications.
- Own end-to-end technical solutions across multiple services or components, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Create low-level designs, robust APIs, effective data models, and reusable technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, observability, security, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business and customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead code and design reviews, drive engineering best practices, and mentor other engineers.
- Diagnose complex production issues and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability through data-driven analysis.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling.
- Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions safely within production services and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Significant experience designing and building production software services or applications.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end delivery for services or components.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Familiarity with system design, including low-level design, API design, and data modeling.
- Preferred: experience designing multi-service or domain-level architectures, APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
- Preferred: experience improving performance, reliability, and scalability of high-traffic or mission-critical systems using data-driven analysis and experimentation.
- Preferred: experience with test automation, CI/CD improvements, security hardening, and operational best practices.
- Preferred: hands-on experience integrating or operating AI/ML-enabled capabilities and familiarity with AI-driven developer productivity or observability tools.
