Responsibilities

Develop and execute system-level integration test procedures derived from software requirements.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated regression tests using Python.
Troubleshoot distributed software systems, analyze production code, and perform gray-box validation.
Identify, reproduce, document, and retest integration defects using logs, traces, and diagnostic data.
Install, configure, load, and integrate subsystem software builds into laboratory equipment suites.
Maintain laboratory system operability and provide hands-on technical support during integration and test activities.
Develop utilities, scripts, and integration support tools for testing, automation, and diagnostics.
Plan and coordinate laboratory resource usage and collaborate with software, systems, and integration teams.
Support integration events and testing activities outside standard business hours as required.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance or other required authorization.
Ability to work on-site in laboratory environments and support testing outside standard business hours.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2–4 years of experience in software integration, system test, or software engineering in a structured, configuration-controlled environment.
Experience executing system-level test procedures derived from documented requirements.
Experience troubleshooting distributed software systems in Linux/Unix environments.
Ability to read and analyze C/C++, Java, or similar production software code.
Proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language.
Experience analyzing logs, traces, and diagnostic data for root cause analysis.
Preferred experience includes distributed system-of-systems architectures, pub/sub messaging, automated test frameworks, integration tooling, automated build/test environments, and performance analysis.
Preferred familiarity with Git, Artifactory, Jira, DOORS, Jazz, or similar version control, artifact management, and issue or requirements tracking tools.
Industry-recognized certifications such as ISTQB, Security+, or similar are preferred.
