Responsibilities
- Design, code, and launch backend features and services for restaurant partners
- Identify high-impact technical opportunities and creative solutions
- Own initiatives end-to-end from concept through production and iteration
- Select appropriate technologies to solve tasks in a scalable way
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teammates
- Write tests and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, reliability, and performance in production
Requirements
- Experience building scalable backend systems with Python and Flask
- Experience working with databases and cloud services
- Comfort with monitoring and logging tools
- Ability to learn and use additional languages or frameworks such as Go and Ruby
- Ability to collaborate effectively on a distributed, asynchronous team
- Strong product and customer focus with an ownership-oriented approach
