Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Work with Java, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, databases, messaging technologies, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices in software delivery.
- Work in a hybrid arrangement requiring one or two days per week at a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo - Morumbi.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE development.
- Proficiency with Angular.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database and relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JMS or Kafka.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to generative AI tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, or GitHub Copilot.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial services, trading, or wealth management is advantageous.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and knowledge of DevOps tools and practices are advantageous.
