Base Salary
$185k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy services that provide a seamless build-from-source experience.
- Own design and implementation efforts for services operating at AWS scale.
- Improve service scalability, resilience, reliability, and efficiency.
- Work on APIs, provisioning workflows, health monitoring, eventing, and the AWS Console experience.
- Help extend Elastic Beanstalk to Kubernetes and EKS while supporting the classic architecture without customer disruption.
- Collaborate with a diverse engineering team and mentor or act as a technical leader for other engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
