Senior Software Engineer - Ab Initio Administrator
Wells FargoResponsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and support Ab Initio components and AIDP environments across development, QA, UAT, and production.
- Administer Linux/Unix servers, platform migrations, server refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and environment resources.
- Configure sandboxes, projects, repositories, user access controls, LDAP/Active Directory integration, and role-based security.
- Monitor capacity, system utilization, disk space, memory, CPU performance, platform health, and high availability.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, platform stability issues, and operational incidents.
- Support code migrations, release deployments, deployment automation, operational runbooks, and release documentation.
- Develop shell scripts and automation to improve monitoring, alerting, platform management, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, storage, database, and development teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination thereof.
- Desired bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Desired 7-9 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of Ab Initio platform administration.
- Strong experience administering Ab Initio Co>Operating System, EME, Conduct>It, GDE, and Metadata Hub.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting experience, with Bash, KornShell, or Python preferred.
- Knowledge of enterprise job schedulers such as Autosys or Control-M and experience supporting high-availability data platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, enterprise databases, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Big Data ecosystems, along with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
