Base Salary
$155k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a complex, high-speed electro-optical test station project.
- Review sub-system designs integrating optics, electronics, firmware, software, and thermal design.
- Design and build laboratory setups with light sources, detectors, and other equipment.
- Develop software scripts for automated measurements and data collection.
- Create software and algorithms for data analysis and performance parameter extraction.
- Develop test plans, standard test procedures, and automated test flows.
- Transfer test procedures and instructions to lab operators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical science with 6+ years of industry experience.
- Experience in designing and testing high-speed electro-optical sub-systems.
- Ability to source and test test equipment, optical assemblies, and electronics.
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming for automation.
- Experience developing tuning/calibration algorithms.
- Familiarity with optical hardware test equipment automation.
- Technical project management experience preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and SQL is preferred.
