Base Salary

$108k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure environments.
  • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Lead container orchestration and infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Troubleshoot complex production, networking, distributed-system, and deployment issues.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices.
  • Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security improvements.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening initiatives.
  • Mentor junior DevOps and engineering team members.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows and operational readiness.
  • Support onboarding, operational documentation, and environment management.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph are required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Expertise with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Nomad, or Docker Swarm is required.
  • Strong Linux system administration proficiency is required.
  • Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Expertise with Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code technologies is required.
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack is required.
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production deployments is required.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, system architecture, high-availability, and scalable-environment concepts is required.
  • Experience diagnosing networking issues using TCP, UDP, HTTPS, and TLS is required.
  • Experience working within an Agile Scrum development team and the ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision are required.
