Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure environments.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Lead container orchestration and infrastructure modernization efforts.
- Troubleshoot complex production, networking, distributed-system, and deployment issues.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices.
- Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security improvements.
- Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening initiatives.
- Mentor junior DevOps and engineering team members.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows and operational readiness.
- Support onboarding, operational documentation, and environment management.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph are required.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering is required.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
- Expertise with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Nomad, or Docker Swarm is required.
- Strong Linux system administration proficiency is required.
- Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines is required.
- Expertise with Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code technologies is required.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack is required.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production deployments is required.
- Knowledge of networking, security, system architecture, high-availability, and scalable-environment concepts is required.
- Experience diagnosing networking issues using TCP, UDP, HTTPS, and TLS is required.
- Experience working within an Agile Scrum development team and the ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision are required.
