Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation frameworks for embedded firmware verification and validation.
- Develop test cases, perform feasibility analysis for automation, and create and execute automation scripts.
- Execute testing projects across AC Power, Thermal, and DC Power product lines.
- Perform HIL testing and use communication interfaces and protocols to validate embedded systems.
- Build embedded-systems hardware test setups, troubleshoot hardware, and read schematics.
- Execute assigned work and report progress according to the defined communication plan.
- Perform manual testing when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in power electronics, electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant software test automation experience in embedded-system domains.
- At least 2 years of Python experience and strong programming skills.
- Experience completing at least one automation project end to end.
- Required HIL knowledge using NI and Vector tools such as VT System and CANoe.
- Required experience with RS-485, Modbus, CANopen, Ethernet, TCP/IP, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience building embedded hardware test setups, troubleshooting hardware, and reading schematics.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.
- Strong debugging, logical, and analytical skills, with effective written and spoken English communication.
- ISTQB certification, manual testing experience, and power-domain experience are preferred.
