Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Propose and design solutions for complex business needs.
- Write, test, and deploy software.
- Prepare technical and procedural software documentation.
- Maintain and debug software.
- Apply customer-focused practices and manage risks in accordance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Knowledge of application delivery processes, application design, architecture, application development tools, application testing, packaged application integration, system development life cycle, technical troubleshooting, and technical writing/documentation.
- Preferred skills include application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvement, release management, software solutions, and user experience design.
- Certifications are often desired, but no certification or license is required.
- A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
