Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes EKS clusters, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.
- Build and maintain Docker images and container orchestration workflows.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
- Collaborate with software engineers on microservices-based systems and distributed system design.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability tools and dashboards.
- Manage DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, reverse proxies, and load balancers.
- Perform database backup, restoration, performance tuning, scaling, and cost-optimization tasks.
- Lead infrastructure automation, improvement, and cost-savings initiatives across cloud environments.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure security, compliance, and reliability in production systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response when necessary.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, especially EKS, EC2, SQS, RDS, and VPC.
- Strong production expertise with Kubernetes EKS and Docker.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience managing MySQL or PostgreSQL databases in the cloud.
- Familiarity with DNS management, SSL/TLS certificates, Nginx, ALB, and other reverse proxies or load balancers.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- PHP/Laravel deployment and maintenance experience is a bonus.
- Experience with AWS Cost Explorer or CloudHealth is a bonus.
- Knowledge of SOC2 or ISO27001 security and compliance frameworks is a bonus.
- Exposure to ArgoCD or FluxCD GitOps workflows, serverless and event-driven architectures, or Agile and DevSecOps environments is a bonus.
