Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation and orchestration strategies for on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead the maturation of DevOps culture within development and QA teams.
- Define and lead architectural discussions for complex infrastructure systems.
- Drive the technical roadmap for DevOps initiatives and identify improvement opportunities.
- Solve technical problems related to infrastructure, automation, and system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish technical standards.
- Evaluate and champion new technologies and industry best practices.
- Capture and share best practices to enhance the organization's technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Expertise in programming languages such as Golang or Python.
- Proven experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals and distributed systems.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience leading complex technical projects from conception to completion.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems and performance issues.
- Experience mentoring engineers and promoting technical best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/XP practices and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
