Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications for Securities Lending Technology using Java, Scala, and Angular.
  • Own software changes from inception through production deployment across the full SDLC.
  • Implement new functionality and identify process gaps or improvement opportunities focused on scalability and stability.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders and coordinate with distributed technology teams across global regions.
  • Use testing practices and tools to deliver high-quality software and respond to client or stakeholder queries.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience developing applications with Java or Scala technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring.
  • Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, or Concordion.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as DB2.
  • Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, and Unix.
  • Good-to-have experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, and Scala.
  • Experience in financing, equity, prime brokerage, equity swaps, or securities lending is preferred.
  • Strong communication, client service, collaboration, and independent-work skills are required.
