Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of Go applications integrating a new AI accelerator with Kubernetes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the new hardware with existing Kubernetes clusters and provide a native Kubernetes end-user experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test features.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Engage with the Kubernetes community and contribute to discussions, forums, and open-source projects when needed.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive code and project documentation.
  • Stay current with Kubernetes and cloud-computing trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Go and extensive experience with Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration, cloud-native development, and Linux-based operating systems.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certifications are preferred.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and complex technical solution delivery skills.
  • English proficiency at C1 level.
  • Familiarity with Kubeflow, KubeVirt, Kata Containers, Volcano, RDMA networks, Ray, SLURM, Azure, GCP, AWS, and GitHub or GitLab is desirable.
