Responsibilities
- Build state, history, permissioning, and event models for Lapel primitives.
- Design an extensibility model that balances customer power with structure.
- Ensure primitives are usable by both people and agents with clear actions and histories.
- Decide on defaults, configurable options, and custom features for Lapel.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend or software engineering experience.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and backend abstractions.
- Strong judgment in balancing simplicity and flexibility in system design.
- Ability to translate product needs into backend foundations.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and pride in building high-quality systems.
