Lapel is hiring a Product Engineer to build and ship end-to-end product features across its full stack. You’ll work closely with founders, designers, and customers using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Postgres, and related technologies to create customer-focused software.

Lapel is seeking a Design Engineer to turn polished product concepts into production-ready React interfaces and scalable design-system components. You’ll work closely with founders and product to combine visual craft, frontend rigor, accessibility, and fast execution.

Build the backend platform that synchronizes, secures, transforms, and orchestrates customer data across external systems. You’ll create durable APIs, integrations, event systems, and workflows in TypeScript for a fast-moving, hospitality-focused company.

Own the backend primitives that power Lapel’s customer-facing platform, including object models, permissions, histories, events, and extensibility. You’ll shape simple, reliable foundations that product teams, enterprise customers, people, and agents can build on.

Build the backend infrastructure that gives Lapel’s long-horizon AI agents reliable memory, reasoning, tool use, and production behavior. You’ll work across orchestration, evaluations, observability, and multi-tenant systems in a TypeScript-based stack.

Build and scale the backend systems, APIs, data models, and infrastructure powering Lapel’s hospitality-at-scale platform. This fully in-person San Francisco role offers broad ownership across architecture, deployment, reliability, and production operations.
