Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to promote a 'Cloud First' philosophy.
- Design and implement multi-region and multi-availability zone patterns for global scale.
- Execute data synchronization and application state for high-performance Active-Active posture.
- Institutionalize high availability patterns, including circuit breakers and compartment isolation.
- Apply chaos engineering principles to ensure resilience and self-recovery under stress.
- Develop automated and self-service workflows for engineering teams.
- Design observability frameworks to provide insights into system health and user experience.
- Implement automated protections for security, compliance, and architectural standards.
- Align cloud scaling decisions with business value for cost and performance optimization.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging cloud-native technologies.
Requirements
- Advanced mastery of the CNCF ecosystem, especially Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Extensive experience managing AWS deployments across multiple regions.
- Proven track record in designing and scaling high-traffic distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and asynchronous processing.
