Responsibilities
- Determine technical requirements for authentication and SIS integration with internal resources and end users.
- Assess and propose technical solutions based on customer needs.
- Provide technical consultation and best practices to internal resources and customers.
- Pilot and test middleware software for data transfer between customer systems and Canvas.
- Maintain solution ownership from planning to delivery.
- Ensure documentation is complete and stored appropriately throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical topics.
- Build and maintain custom tools to enhance team workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in SaaS-based implementations or technical support.
- Technical expertise with identity provider authentication systems like CAS, SAML, LDAP, OAuth.
- Experience with SQL and relational data models.
- Familiarity with APIs and their usage.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
- Some programming experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
