Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, deploy, operate, and maintain critical IMS components across their full lifecycle.
- Manage IMS-MRF, OneiDNS, and VMware-based VoIP support systems.
- Develop and support the AI Calling system on a CaaS Kubernetes platform for real-time speech processing and translation.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure and operational processes.
- Troubleshoot cloud-native applications, perform root cause analysis, and optimize real-time telecommunications performance.
- Use testing, validation, debugging, observability, and monitoring tools to ensure platform stability and quality.
Requirements
- Good experience with cloud-native technologies and containerized environments.
- Strong proficiency with containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with IMS architectures and call flows, including CSCFs, AS, and MRF.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI.
- Good knowledge of Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with structured troubleshooting, root cause analysis, real-time systems, and telecommunications performance optimization.
- Familiarity with testing and validation frameworks for cloud-native applications.
- Nice to have: experience integrating AI/ML into telecommunications or working with real-time speech processing systems.
- Nice to have: knowledge of Deutsche Telekom’s CaaS Kubernetes platform or similar proprietary cloud solutions.
