Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for SSO and identity platforms.
- Build responsive admin consoles, dashboards, and configuration UIs for authentication services.
- Develop and maintain API integrations between frontend applications and backend services.
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents and serve as an SL3 technical escalation point.
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions, post-incident reviews, and platform hardening.
- Debug issues across UI, APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.
- Implement and support OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML authentication and federation flows.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and traces using observability platforms.
- Support releases, validate production readiness, and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
- Contribute to automation, tooling, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on backend development experience with Java; Python or similar languages are advantageous.
- Experience supporting distributed, highly available production systems.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workloads.
- Strong Linux fundamentals, Bash shell scripting, and system-level debugging skills.
- Hands-on UI development experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building secure enterprise web UIs that consume backend APIs.
- Understanding of UI performance, accessibility, and usability.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Preferred experience as an SME for critical platforms or services.
- Preferred functional expertise in IAM and SSO domains.
- Preferred hands-on experience with PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS, Keycloak, or similar IAM products.
- Preferred experience with enterprise OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML implementations.
- Exposure to security reviews, audits, and regulatory compliance processes is advantageous.
