Responsibilities
- Build and continuously optimize algorithm solutions for product matching, price comparison, and other e-commerce applications.
- Maintain and improve the robustness, stability, and computational efficiency of algorithm solutions in live business environments.
- Develop state-of-the-art models that improve platform operations and the shopping experience for millions of customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience and strong skills in at least one area including natural language generation, named entity recognition, machine translation, question answering, knowledge graphs, information extraction, text mining, classification, computer vision, facial recognition, multimodal learning, object detection and tracking, image classification, machine learning, transfer learning, graph embedding, representation learning, large-scale optimization, recommendation, or reinforcement learning.
- Strong coding skills in at least one of Python, Java, C, C++, or Spark.
- Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work experience in the e-commerce or internet industry is preferred.
