Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, architecture, development, and operation of Airwallex’s Global Treasury and Payment Network team and platform.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers across regions to bring financial products from concept to launch.
- Understand customer needs and design intuitive, impactful solutions.
- Use data to measure product success, identify optimization opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Mentor engineers, share knowledge, foster innovation, and promote technical excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in system architecture and software development using modern engineering practices.
- Strong technical expertise and a demonstrated track record of impact as a tech lead.
- Ability to raise technical and talent standards through example, mentoring, and coaching.
- Strong customer empathy, product sense, analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Collaborative, adaptable, proactive, ownership-oriented, and effective at prioritizing work.
- Previous success leading a highly effective team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
