Base Salary
$137k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain secure, resilient, and performance-optimized cloud environments.
- Partner hands-on with Developer Platform to embed security into developer architecture and tooling.
- Design and enforce identity and access strategies across cloud environments with IAM stakeholders.
- Harden cloud platforms against emerging threats while maintaining resilience and high availability.
- Build automation, pipelines, and guardrails using Terraform/IaC and Kubernetes.
- Help secure infrastructure supporting AI-driven pipelines and agentic workflows.
- Translate security requirements into practical designs and advise engineering teams.
- Help define the long-term architecture for securely scaling cloud environments.
- Adapt architecture and priorities as the company, tooling, and team structure evolve.
- Assist with relevant incident response investigations.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on GCP administrative experience is required.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure is a plus.
- Experience with Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes including GKE, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts, particularly SLSA, is a strong plus.
- Experience securing or architecting AI/ML infrastructure or agentic workflows.
- Staff-level experience architecting and securing complex, multi-cloud environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for planning, coordination, and consensus building.
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change; fast-moving or late-stage startup experience is a strong plus.
- A track record of designing secure, resilient systems that accelerate engineering velocity.
