Base Salary
$137k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain secure, resilient cloud environments optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with the Developer Platform team to integrate security into architecture and tooling.
- Design and enforce identity and access strategies with IAM teams across cloud environments.
- Harden cloud platforms against emerging threats while ensuring high availability.
- Build automation, pipelines, and guardrails using Terraform/IaC and Kubernetes.
- Secure infrastructure for AI-driven pipelines and workflows.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating security requirements into practical designs.
- Set long-term architectural vision for secure cloud environment scaling.
- Adapt architecture and priorities as the company scales.
- Assist in incident response investigations.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on GCP administrative experience is essential.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure is a plus.
- Solid DevOps background with Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts, particularly SLSA, is a strong plus.
- Experience securing or architecting AI/ML infrastructure or workflows.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration.
- Staff-level experience in architecting and securing complex multi-cloud environments.
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change, preferably from a fast-moving startup.
- Proven track record of designing secure and resilient systems that enhance engineering velocity.
