Responsibilities
- Contribute to requirements gathering, application and database design, development, testing, deployment, and support across the software development lifecycle.
- Build scalable, secure, maintainable full-stack applications, services, AI-infused applications, and agentic solutions.
- Design application components aligned with architectural standards, security requirements, and business objectives.
- Develop Copilot-powered features and use AI technologies to improve user experience, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, stakeholders, and business partners through code reviews, technical discussions, planning, and delivery activities.
- Establish best practices for coding, automated testing, documentation, performance, and service reliability.
- Improve production reliability through monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, automated recovery, incident mitigation, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, technical innovation, and improved scalability and cost efficiency.
- Provide cost and effort estimates and communicate deliverables, risks, and milestones transparently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 5+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C#, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience building commercial software and shipping successful software products or services.
- 5+ years of experience applying cloud development principles and design patterns, including loosely coupled architectures, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Strong proficiency with C#, .NET, microservices architecture, REST APIs, React, JavaScript or TypeScript, and automated testing frameworks, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI/SDK, Claude CLI, or equivalent platforms for agents, plugins, skills, MCP servers, automation, and software development lifecycle improvements.
- Experience building applications and intelligent agents using ASP.NET, Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, or equivalent frameworks.
- Technical knowledge of enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, architecture design, Azure PaaS services, and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience with Azure compute, integration, data, and database services, including Web Apps, Function Apps, AKS, Azure Container Apps, API Management, Azure Front Door, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse.
- Experience with DevOps practices, Azure infrastructure, Git or other source control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in global agile teams or startup environments with a strong customer focus.
- Experience with Power Platform and Dynamics 365 is an added advantage.
