Responsibilities
- Advance Tapestry’s multi-year infrastructure automation roadmap and DevSecOps strategy.
- Investigate and incubate infrastructure automation opportunities and own delivery of automation features.
- Develop, test, and deploy configurations across multiple environments using automated pipelines.
- Maintain system standards through configuration management, automation templates, scripting, and version control.
- Implement and support Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines and containerized infrastructure.
- Create technical documentation, process flows, problem analyses, and solution alternatives.
- Work in agile teams, participate in team ceremonies, and support globally distributed infrastructure.
- Stay current with cloud and configuration management technologies while helping protect user privacy and security.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, including 3–4 years with Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Professional competence in cloud architecture principles across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Hands-on Python and JSON experience, plus Bash scripting and Linux skills.
- Expertise implementing Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, ECS, and EKS or related containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, networking, VMware, and storage.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and security, including VPCs and security groups.
- Familiarity with cloud identity management such as IAM and understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and process flow diagrams.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability, flexibility, and a record of delivering results.
- Preferred qualifications include an active GitHub profile with contributions and contributions to Ansible Galaxy.
