Responsibilities
- Design and own scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing end-to-end data solution architectures.
- Translate business and product requirements into architectural designs aligned with enterprise standards and future scalability needs.
- Define technical standards for data architecture, data modeling, integration patterns, and system design.
- Provide technical leadership, review designs and implementations, and guide engineering teams in applying architectural principles.
- Ensure performance, reliability, security, privacy, compliance, and secure data handling requirements are met.
- Lead resolution of complex technical issues and drive improvements in scalability, maintainability, and system design.
- Define and support CI/CD, testing, and deployment strategies.
- Maintain architectural documentation and collaborate with global cross-functional teams on standards and delivery priorities.
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of experience in data architecture, software engineering, or technical leadership.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable data solutions in production environments.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, system design, integration patterns, SQL, and data processing at scale.
- Experience with data pipeline and ETL tools such as SSIS or equivalent tools and frameworks.
- Experience using programming languages such as Python for data processing or automation.
- Experience defining or contributing to technical standards and architecture frameworks.
- Ability to lead technical design and guide delivery across teams.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud-based architectures is desirable.
