Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation and performance solutions, reusable regression suites, test harnesses, and testing tools.
- Create test plans and test cases, execute tests, analyze results, and report defects and quality findings.
- Lead testing work by planning activities, assigning tasks, reviewing team deliverables, and guiding project staff.
- Develop efficient testing solutions for web, services/API, and database requirements.
- Partner with development teams on requirements, architecture, design, automation strategy, acceptance criteria, and delivery quality.
- Perform functional, system, regression, exploratory, service-layer, database, and performance testing.
- Capture quality metrics, estimate testing work, and perform risk analysis for quality delivery.
- Participate in project scoping, technical reviews, functional reviews, and cross-team meetings in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in software testing or development with a strong understanding of testing, coding, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience testing or automating Salesforce components or add-ons and Microsoft Office add-ins.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, Java, or other languages.
- Experience developing automated tests with tools such as Selenium and Appium across UI, service, and data layers.
- Experience refactoring and extending test automation and performance frameworks and suites.
- Experience with SOAP and REST services, SOA architecture, Git, SQL/PL-SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases.
- Experience with test data management, automated test coverage mapping, test plans, test cases, exploratory testing, and defect reports.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, StormRunner, or JMeter.
- Experience with BDD, Agile practices, CI, DevOps, rolling deployment/upgrade models, cloud technologies, and testing microservices or containers is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
