Base Salary
$230k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the end-to-end event pipeline architecture.
- Design and architect distributed data systems for massive scale.
- Lead initiatives to build and optimize CDC pipelines and streaming data transformations.
- Establish best practices for data quality, pipeline reliability, and system observability.
- Drive strategic technical decisions about data modeling and infrastructure architecture.
- Mentor engineers and elevate data engineering practices across teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a data or software engineer.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and data infrastructure.
- Expert-level knowledge of Apache Kafka and event streaming platforms.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake and performance optimization.
- Proven track record of leading major data infrastructure initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with a history of influencing technical direction.
