Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the vision, architecture, and delivery of strategic machine learning solutions across products and platforms.
- Lead the complete software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, operations, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Build high-performance, high-scale synchronous and asynchronous microservices and real-time online inference systems.
- Use Triton, TensorRT, and mixed-precision computing for complex model inference.
- Provide technical direction, lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and foster team culture.
- Improve system resilience, scalability, operational excellence, and engineering processes.
Requirements
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience across the complete software development lifecycle.
- 5 to 10 years of experience with Python and its advanced features and libraries.
- Expertise designing RESTful APIs, including hands-on experience with technologies such as FastAPI.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
- At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in computer science or equivalent experience in machine learning.
- Preferred: experience with PyTorch, SageMaker, Triton, TensorRT, NoSQL or document databases, big data, workflow optimization, and performance improvement.
