Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, such as the audio/video player.
- Develop and deliver requested product features in collaboration with product owners, architects, and technical managers.
- Ensure product quality, standards compliance, and application performance under high loads.
- Participate in user-story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, Agile Scrum activities, code reviews, and application deployments.
- Propose solutions to technical challenges and stay informed about trends in digital development.
- Contribute to production-project reviews, corrections, adjustments, and measurement of project results.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and WebAPI.
- Excellent understanding of REST API principles.
- Knowledge of Git, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
- English and French language skills are required for the multilingual work environment.
- Knowledge of Redis, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Data Lake, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure cloud, web audio-video streaming, design patterns, or other programming languages is an asset.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
