Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the frontend monorepo for performance, health, and developer usability.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for React Native and web targets.
- Author and maintain shared TypeScript libraries for state management, networking, and error handling.
- Own the end-to-end mobile release process, including Android build configuration, versioning, and deployment automation.
- Integrate and maintain Sentry and Amplitude observability tooling at the platform level.
- Resolve build bottlenecks, dependency issues, and tooling gaps, and translate frontend team needs into platform improvements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in frontend or mobile engineering, with meaningful platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling experience.
- Production-grade TypeScript experience with strong typing discipline.
- Hands-on production React Native experience, including understanding of the native layer.
- Practical Kotlin experience on Android, including native modules, build configuration, or Android-side CI/CD.
- Direct ownership of or significant contribution to CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design systems and write code for other engineers while working autonomously.
- Experience with nx or pnpm workspaces, Vite, Expo, Reanimated, or React Native Gesture Handler is preferred.
- Fintech or high-scale consumer application experience is preferred.
