Responsibilities
- Participate in complex software design, integration, maintenance, and all other phases of the development process.
- Develop, test, and revise front-end web application code from mockups and wireframes.
- Create accessible, navigable, and cross-browser user interface components.
- Design and deploy event-driven microservices, serverless applications, and container-based applications in AWS.
- Use infrastructure-as-code tools to provision public and private cloud environments.
- Facilitate developer growth through code reviews, mentoring, and one-on-one interaction.
- Define and promote development best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Document code and technical solutions clearly and effectively.
- Coordinate development efforts with other team members and troubleshoot complex or crisis situations.
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and support AI/ML model deployment and lifecycle management where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of progressive software development experience.
- High-level proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Experience with server-side development using C#.
- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Git or another version control system.
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests.
- Understanding of ETL processes and event-driven microservices architecture in AWS.
- Expertise with AWS services and implementation practices, including Lambda, Fargate, and ECS.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tooling such as GitLab, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Preferred experience developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML models in production environments.
- Preferred experience with Amazon SageMaker, AWS Glue, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Lex, and Amazon Polly in end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
- Preferred experience with scalable data pipelines, distributed data processing, containerization, orchestration, and MLOps platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI.
- Financial-services or broker/dealer experience and background or interest in mathematics or financial modeling are preferred but not required.
