Base Salary
$135k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide influence and leadership over the Enterprise Security roadmap and priorities.
- Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security partners to implement security tools and policies.
- Assist Security Operations with investigations as a technical subject matter expert.
- Partner with engineering teams to triage and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Mentor Security team engineers in domain knowledge, tool skills, and communication.
- Build, operate, and maintain core security infrastructure and automated alerting and response capabilities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in an enterprise security role with demonstrated impact.
- Deep expertise in enterprise security engineering best practices, particularly SASE tools such as Zscaler.
- Strong Python scripting skills, including building tools and automations.
- Experience building, integrating, and maintaining enterprise security tools.
- Ability to assess common security problems and independently judge their severity and business impact.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Tines and AWS Lambda and security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Wiz.
- Track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating across teams.
- Residence in the Pacific or Hawaii time zones.
- Preferred experience with zero trust, least privilege, just-in-time access management, identity lifecycle management, and data loss prevention.
- Preferred experience building security programs with CrowdStrike, Mimecast Incydr, Splunk, and other SaaS platforms.
- Preferred experience with Terraform-based infrastructure as code deployments.
