Responsibilities
- Design and develop NiCE CXone products and features across application tiers.
- Work as an individual contributor on complex reporting-based projects.
- Interpret business requirements and collaborate with technical teams and designers.
- Participate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept projects.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, integration testing, and system-level automation.
- Resolve defects found during the QA cycle and support the production environment.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and contribute to performance tuning.
- Collaborate with other developers in a team environment.
- Partner with AI Transformation Leads to deliver AI-driven business outcomes and build AI-powered solutions using LLMs, agents, and automation frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Java developer working on web and server-side applications.
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Expertise with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services standards, JSON, and REST.
- Demonstrated experience developing multi-tier web applications.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and DevOps tools.
- Experience with unit- and system-level automation using JUnit or TestNG.
- Strong performance-tuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience writing integration tests with Cucumber.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with MicroStrategy, Scala, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, TDD, modern software development practices, AI development tools, LLMs, agents, and automation frameworks is advantageous.
