Responsibilities
- Lead functional solution design for Salesforce Health Cloud using native healthcare data models and capabilities.
- Run discovery and design sessions with payer, provider, medtech, distribution, and pharma stakeholders.
- Create data model mappings, object and field designs, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and formal design sign-off artifacts.
- Design compliant solutions addressing PHI, HIPAA, BAAs, encryption, consent, audit, and minimum-necessary access.
- Shape end-to-end architecture and integration patterns with Data 360, Agentforce, Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, Revenue Cloud, ARM, MuleSoft, EHRs, and other systems of record.
- Translate functional designs for technical architects, developers, Data 360 specialists, and Agentforce specialists and support configuration reviews, UAT, and deployment gates.
- Own Health practice reference architectures, reusable patterns, scoping calculators, SOW templates, and enablement materials.
- Support pre-sales through discovery calls, solution shaping, demos, and estimates.
- Coach functional and technical team members and stay current on Salesforce Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and Industries releases.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of Salesforce consulting, solution architecture, or business analysis experience and 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud design and delivery across at least two full-lifecycle implementations.
- Require direct healthcare industry experience with payers, providers or IDNs, medical devices or distribution, or pharma, including knowledge of funding, regulation, and operations.
- Require practical understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, BAAs, data models, sharing, encryption, consent, and audit requirements.
- Require deep knowledge of Health Cloud features including Person Accounts, Care Programs, Care Plans, Provider and Payer models, benefits verification, referrals, Utilization Management, and Intelligent Document Processing.
- Require experience leading discovery workshops, facilitating senior-stakeholder design decisions, and documenting decisions through sign-off.
- Require experience integrating healthcare systems of record such as Epic or comparable EHRs, HL7/FHIR systems, claims or core administration platforms, or billing and order systems, typically through MuleSoft or an equivalent.
- Require ability to connect solution outcomes to business value and familiarity with flow-charting and data-modeling tools such as Lucidchart.
- Require willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional and Application or Solution Architect credentials, Salesforce Industries or OmniStudio experience, and Data 360 or Agentforce experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Life Sciences Cloud or Veeva CRM experience, Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, Revenue Cloud or Asset Revenue Management experience, payer distribution and IDN familiarity, and experience establishing a consulting practice, competency, or center of excellence.
