Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Java 17-based microservices using Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Reactor, and Micronaut.
- Build reactive, event-driven solutions integrating Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
- Design and implement workflows and serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Develop and securely integrate APIs with Azure API Management.
- Deploy and manage services on Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Integrate Azure data services including PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB, and optimize performance with Azure Redis Cache.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments on Azure.
- Apply monitoring and observability practices to ensure application reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement cloud-native design patterns.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience is stated; the posting also lists 7.5 years as a minimum requirement.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Java Standard Edition.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, Spring WebFlux, and Project Reactor.
- Experience developing microservices-based, reactive, event-driven, and real-time applications.
- Practical experience with Kafka and Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Strong experience with Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Redis Cache.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes, plus familiarity with cloud-native security practices and API design standards.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, teamwork, and ability to learn new Azure services and frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 15 years of full-time education.
- Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate, are preferred.
