Responsibilities
- Build and maintain SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows using RICEFW.
- Develop custom reports, user exits, and BADIs across SAP modules.
- Design and maintain integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, REST, SOAP, and SAP middleware.
- Debug and performance-tune custom ABAP code and standard SAP transactions.
- Use Modern ABAP, CDS views, and OData to support S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
- Manage technical documentation and SAP transport requests throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in system upgrades, version migrations, and S/4HANA implementations.
- Translate functional specifications into efficient and scalable technical code while following SAP development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and their data structures.
- Expert-level proficiency in ABAP/4, Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP Objects, Data Dictionary, and modularization techniques.
- Experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, CDS views, OData services, performance tuning, and debugging.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite and SAP integration technologies.
- Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, SmartForms, ALV, and SAP Scripts.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- SAP ABAP certification is preferred.
