Base Salary
$83k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operationalize advanced LLM-powered applications for enterprise use cases.
- Build text-based reasoning systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, and scalable prompt engineering frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into reliable, explainable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.
- Design and implement APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise AI capabilities.
- Optimize AI solutions for real-world performance and support model evaluation and benchmarking.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with software engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade AI/ML systems rather than only prototypes.
- Experience working with Large Language Models and APIs.
- Understanding of NLP fundamentals and machine learning concepts including training, evaluation, overfitting, and bias.
- Practical experience with RAG systems, prompt engineering, prompt optimization, embeddings, and vector search.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with model evaluation techniques and performance metrics.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex systems.
- Preferred experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, MLOps, cloud deployment, agent-based architectures, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
