Responsibilities
- Develop components and functionality using the APX framework.
- Analyze technical requirements and implement business services and APIs.
- Correct incidents and perform evolutionary maintenance.
- Document technical developments.
- Execute unit tests and support integration testing.
- Participate in code reviews and Scrum ceremonies.
- Follow BBVA security, quality, and governance standards.
- Support deployments and validations across different environments.
Requirements
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in Java development.
- Professional internships or academic projects in backend development are accepted.
- Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or a related field.
- Required knowledge of Java 8 or higher, object-oriented programming, Spring Boot, JSON, XML, SQL, Oracle or relational databases, Git, Maven, IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, and Postman.
- Preferred experience with the APX framework, microservices architecture, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, Linux, Control-M, Kafka, and the financial or banking sector.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, continuous-learning, problem-solving, proactive, results-oriented, and detail-oriented skills.
