Responsibilities
- Lead and own end-to-end deliverables across the Research Platform.
- Architect and design platform-first solutions that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Champion engineering best practices and contribute to the evolution of the team's software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Contribute to technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- Demonstrated autonomous ownership of complex engineering deliverables involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on full-stack experience and willingness to work across the technology stack as needed.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience architecting scalable and resilient applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical challenges independently.
- Preferred experience in financial services or regulated technology environments and an understanding of financial research.
- Preferred experience with agentic software development lifecycle delivery and managing risk and controls across a technology portfolio.
