Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on UI engineering expertise across multiple product teams.
  • Design and architect cloud-native, service-oriented UI components and applications with other technical leads.
  • Develop performant, reusable, secure, and testable web applications using modern frontend technologies.
  • Collaborate with product and creative teams to define, maintain, and adopt design-system standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, optimize applications, and deliver clean code and new capabilities regularly.
  • Champion unit testing, automated UI testing, linting, and pipeline automation to support continuous deployment.
  • Create reference implementations, mentor junior staff, and define engineering best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues across the UI and service layers and help prevent recurrence.
  • Work with project managers to deliver projects on time and to a high quality standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field.
  • At least 3 years of web application development or software engineering experience in a large enterprise environment using modern frameworks.
  • Experience with React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, native DOM interfaces, Web APIs, WebSocket, and REST patterns.
  • Experience designing performant RESTful services using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience writing UI code suitable for unit testing and automated UI testing.
  • Understanding of browser, device, operating-system, and user-agent interoperability and compatibility concerns.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience with AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes/Helm.
  • Experience working with high-performing teams using Agile and Lean methodologies and frameworks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative, quality-focused approach.
  • A master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Previous digital advertising experience and experience working with vendor teams are preferred.
