Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for Disney’s globally scaled streaming products.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Build quality products and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
- Manage AWS infrastructure supporting DTC supply chain data aggregation and observability systems for Live and VOD.
- Improve system scale and throughput for high-concurrency workloads.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, project managers, and peers using Scrum and Agile practices.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Java or Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with DynamoDB or RDS.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Compute, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with AWS technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Understanding of web accessibility fundamentals.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming models, threading, and concurrency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
