Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering to validate requirements, identify risks, edge cases, and assumptions before development.
- Analyze defects and incidents to determine root causes, patterns, and prevention opportunities.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, support, and infrastructure teams to improve clarity, prioritization, and outcomes.
- Champion shift-left quality and software development lifecycle practices that reduce rework and improve predictability.
- Track quality signals and trends and communicate actionable risk and impact insights to leadership.
- Validate that shipped products work as intended, solve customer problems, and deliver lasting customer value.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or Product Analyst roles within a software product organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience validating requirements, triaging defects, conducting root-cause analysis, and partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments, ideally within SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or payments platforms.
- Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, quality metrics, dashboards, and automation or data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, cross-functional communication, risk assessment, and product-oriented problem-solving skills.
