Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts for backend services, frontend applications, and mobile platforms.
- Develop testing plans covering functionality, performance, security validation, edge cases, and broad test coverage.
- Lead simulation, stress, performance, and load testing programs to evaluate system stability and behavior under varying traffic conditions.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment quality.
- Analyze test metrics, results, and coverage data to identify gaps and improve testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to embed automation strategies.
- Mentor and train engineers in test automation frameworks, best practices, and quality standards.
- Advocate for product quality by designing test cases that reflect user needs and real-world scenarios.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience creating, scaling, and maintaining automation test suites for backend and frontend systems.
- Proficiency writing test scripts in Python, Golang, or Java.
- Expertise with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, or Go Test.
- Experience debugging automated testing systems and identifying failure causes.
- Experience with backend, frontend, and mobile testing paradigms.
- Knowledge of stress, simulation, performance, and load testing methodologies.
- Experience training engineers and mentoring junior engineers in automation practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration, test reporting, data analysis, agile development practices, and test-driven development.
- Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and newer automation technologies.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, software development lifecycle integration, system reliability, scalability, and performance testing.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and apply problem-solving skills to testing strategies.
