Responsibilities

Own full-stack product features from initial concept through production without handoffs.
Build and scale Ruby on Rails applications across the frontend and backend.
Develop asynchronous workflows using queues, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and webhooks.
Scale generation and media-processing pipelines while balancing throughput, memory efficiency, and processing cost.
Shape AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure, deployment tooling, CI/CD environments, and Infrastructure as Code.
Build monitoring, logging, and tracing systems to diagnose bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
Own production operations including deployment, reliability, security practices, and incident response.

Proven track record of shipping web products end to end.
Deep hands-on experience building, scaling, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications across both sides of the stack.
Strong experience with asynchronous systems and high-throughput data or media processing, including memory efficiency and large files.
Experience owning production systems, including cloud environments, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and Infrastructure as Code.
Solid security practices involving least privilege, secrets handling, and dependency hygiene.
Experience with generative AI orchestration, cloud cost engineering, image/media-heavy applications, platform migrations, or public work samples is preferred.
