Responsibilities
- Design and define technology solution architectures based on business, operational, and security requirements.
- Develop scalable, sustainable, and efficient solutions aligned with technology standards and industry best practices.
- Integrate applications, infrastructure, and data while assessing impacts on the existing technology landscape.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure compliance with architectural standards and guidelines.
- Conduct opportunity, feasibility, and impact assessments to support strategic decisions.
- Identify and manage technology risks and ensure compliance with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Advise internal teams, business stakeholders, and vendors on suitable technology solutions.
- Support system modernization and continuous improvement of architecture practices.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and working sessions to gather requirements and align solution approaches.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer on architecture methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of Solutions Architecture experience, including designing, integrating, and evolving complex information systems.
- Experience with large-scale software development or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or Scrumban.
- Strong knowledge of solution architecture principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience designing and integrating complex enterprise technology solutions.
- Understanding of security, performance, integration, and technology governance considerations.
- Ability to assess technology impacts, risks, and dependencies across multiple systems.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Architecture-related certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, or AWS Solutions Architect are relevant.
- Experience with cloud technologies, modernization programs, and large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
