Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during implementation and integration projects.
- Gather customer requirements and define technical approaches, scopes, estimates, and tailored solutions.
- Plan, configure, integrate, deploy, and document solutions on EXFO’s SaaS platform.
- Develop and maintain services, scripts, automation tools, and APIs using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, and Go.
- Contribute to Angular and Flutter frontend enhancements as required by projects.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automate environment provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities and participate in incident resolution.
- Improve SaaS platform availability, scalability, performance, and operational reliability.
- Present technical solutions, conduct demonstrations, troubleshoot complex customer issues, and provide knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Customer Success, and Technical Support teams.
- Maintain deployment guides, runbooks, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, solution integration, or a related technical role.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technical solutions and working directly with customers.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go, with working knowledge of the others.
- Experience with Angular and/or Flutter.
- Solid knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, troubleshooting, problem-solving, ownership, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in written and spoken French and English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally based on project requirements.
- Experience with SaaS deployment, integration, or operations is an asset.
- Professional services, technical consulting, or customer-facing technology implementation experience is an asset.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/ELK, OpenSearch, SRE practices, telecommunications, networking, fiber optics, or network monitoring is an asset.
- Relevant technical certifications, including Kubernetes CKA or cloud certifications, are an asset.
