Base Salary
$85k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write high quality, testable code that meets team commitments.
- Utilize a 'Test-First' approach to software development.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Create automated unit, system, and acceptance tests.
- Support end of iteration demos.
- Handle integration, testing, and deployment tasks.
- Work with product management to scope product enhancements.
- Design, implement, and unit test software.
- Fix software defects following defined processes.
- Foster continuous team improvement.
- Contribute to team retrospectives.
- Maintain documentation for program development.
- Participate in the change management process.
- Develop integrations for processing hospital system messages.
- Support cloud migration efforts towards AWS.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Adhere to confidentiality and regulatory policies.
- Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C# and MS SQL Server.
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in testing or launching software products.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages is a plus.
- Experience with Lua for message processing is a plus.
- Interest in cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Advanced design/debugging/coding skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex problems.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated high personal integrity.
