Responsibilities
- Drive software feature planning, integration, validation, and commercialization against product release schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to enable features and deliver software on time.
- Lead software release execution, process compliance, quality standards, and release management.
- Triage and debug runtime, build, and system integration issues and lead technical reviews.
- Identify risks, align stakeholders, and execute mitigation plans across engineering, product, and program teams.
- Manage software integration workflows, configuration management, and release processes across multiple product lines.
- Track program milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Improve development and validation workflows for greater release efficiency, quality, and predictability.
- Facilitate communication among geographically distributed technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electronics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in embedded software development, system software integration, or software commercialization is stated in the general qualifications.
- Minimum qualifications specify 6+ years with a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years with a master’s degree, or 4+ years with a PhD in software engineering or related work.
- At least 3 years of programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong C programming, debugging, scripting, software integration, release management, and configuration management skills.
- Experience with real-time embedded systems, operating systems, multitasking, multithreading, and system software development.
- Experience troubleshooting complex runtime, build, and integration issues.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Strong program management, planning, organizational, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
